XBOX and Playground Games have released a new 30-minute gameplay demo trailer for Fable, which shows off more of the upcoming RPG. The game will release for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC on February 23.
The demo showcases more of the world that the game takes place in, the dialogue options, the combat, and the way in which your reputation can grow and evolve. Recently, a new trailer released, which revealed that actress Hayley Atwell (Peggy Carter in Captain America) will play the antagonist Isabel. It also highlighted the return of classic series villain Jack of Blades. Check out the latest gameplay showcase for Fable below:
Fable was originally planned to release in fall 2026, but according to Xbox chief content officer and executive vice president Matt Booty on XBOX Podcast, the company wants to “make sure the game has a window all to its own.” This is in reference to the release of Grand Theft Auto VI. The Steam page describes Fable as follows:
