A new promotional video for the anime adaptation of Kōcha Agasawa’s You and I Are Polar Opposites (Seihantai na Kimi to Boku) season 2 has released, and reveals “Nekojarashi” by 7co as the opening song. Details about both returning and new staff members were also released.
The second season will begin airing on July 5 and will be available on Crunchyroll as it airs. 7co (pronounced as “Nanako”) wrote “Nekojarashi” for the anime. The group is a collaboration between vocalist Nanako Ashida and the music producer RYUJA. SHOCHIKU anime will oversee the anime, with Takakazu Nagatomo directing. The first season of You and I Are Polar Opposites is available to stream on Crunchyroll. Kōcha Agasawa launched the manga series on Shonen Jump+ in May 2022, and it ran until November 2024. Manga Plus and VIZ Media publish the series in English. Agasawa’s other manga, The Ramparts of Ice, is currently airing on Netflix.
