As previously announced, the movie will pull elements that pay homage to the gameplay of Resident Evil, such as a first-person perspective, fixed camera angles, green herbs, and characters that miss their shots. However, it will not feature any previously established characters from the franchise like Leon Kennedy or Chris Redfield. Lastly, Austin Abrams (Weapons) will play the protagonist, named Bryan.
