Capcom has announced that Resident Evil will collaborate with the BABYMETAL band in 2026. As part of the collaboration, both will release merchandise that commemorate Resident Evil‘s 30th anniversary.
The video announcing the collaboration features Maggie Robertson as Alcina Dimitrescu confirming that fans will be able to purchase collaborative merchandise featuring Resident Evil and BABYMETAL next year. Check out the announcement video from the official Resident Evil YouTube channel below:
Capcom recently opened pre-orders for Resident Evil Requiem and revealed a new Deluxe Edition, Nintendo Switch 2 Pro Controller, and new Grace amiibo. All pre-orders include the “Apocalypse” costume for Grace, and players who pre-order on Epic Games Store receive special collaboration items in Fortnite, including the Grace outfit.
The Deluxe Edition will be available for $79.99. It will include a pack of five costumes, one of which depicting Grace as Lady Dimitrescu, as well as four weapon skins, two screen filters, two weapon charms, and much more. A Premium Steelbook Edition ($89.99) was also revealed featuring the full game, Deluxe Edition contents, and a limited-edition lenticular card.
Fans can also look forward to Nintendo Switch 2 versions of Resident Evil biohazard Gold Edition and Resident Evil Village Gold Edition, launching the same day as Resident Evil Requiem. A Resident Evil Generation Pack bundle, exclusive to Nintendo Switch 2, will include all three games. Pre-orders are available now for $89.99 in the Nintendo eShop.
Lastly, Resident Evil Requiem launches February 27, 2026, for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC via Steam, and the game has already surpassed two million wishlists.
