Gran Turismo 7 Update 1.69 Introduces New Power Pack Challenges Mode

Sony Interactive Entertainment and Polyphony Digital has released the Gran Turismo 7 update 1.69 featuring three new cars, the new Power Pack Challenges Mode, and much more. The new mode is accessible to owners of the Gran Turismo 7 Power Pack DLC, which is only available on PlayStation 5.

Gran Turismo 7 update 1.69 introduces Porsche 911 Turbo S Leichtbau (964) ’93, Renault Twingo ’93, and Yangwang U9 ’24 cars. Players can try out the new cars in various newly added World Circuits events.

The new World Circuits events include:

  • Schwarzwald League (Circuit Gilles-Villeneuve)
  • Hypercar Parade (Yas Marina Circuit)
  • World Touring Car 900 (Autódromo de Interlagos)

What’s more, Power Pack Challenges arrives as a new mode that lets players earn rewards based on the number of races completed within a set period. Rewards will rotate weekly, and progress is tracked on the the World Map screen or the notification panel in the top-right of the Event Select screen.

To round out the update, [Extra Menu No. 53] Collection: Muscle Car (Collector Level 55 and above) and the “Move the Camera Up and Down III” featured Curation were added.

Polyphony Digital released the Gran Turismo 7 Spec III update and Power Pack DLC on December 4, 2025. The update introduced a slew of content, including eight new cars, a new cinematic intro, a data logger feature, a new Circuit Experience, the Yas Marina Circuit and Circuit Gilles-Villeneuve tracks, and much more. Power Pack released for $29.99 and features 50 races spanning 20 categories, including 24-hour endurance races.

Gran Turismo 7 and the game’s free demo, My First GT, available now for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5. Players may complete the demo to earn bonuses in Gran Turismo 7. Regular updates can be found at the official Gran Turismo blog.
