Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves “Wolves’ Destiny” Update Launches with DLC Character Krauser

SNK has announced that the “Wolves’ Destiny” major update for Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves will launch on April 24 alongside Season 2 DLC character Wolfgang Krauser (EN: Patrick Seitz, JA: Yutaka Aoyama). This update marks the release of the first-ever main story mode in Fatal Fury series history.

The story of Wolves’ Destiny focuses on the battle between Krauser and the Emperor of Second South, Kain. According to SNK, the story contains over 15,000 words fully voiced in Japanese and English with nearly 150 new illustrations. The update also brings a new outfit for Kain alongside Ring Out Battles, the Fighter’s Hub shop for online match settings, and heavy special moves for Smart Style.

Further, Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves is now available with an entry level “Standard Edition” for $19.99 featuring all game modes and base roster characters. A “Legends Edition” is available for $49.99 with Season Pass 1 and Season Pass 2. 

In Arcade Mode, Krauser returns and vows to reclaim his life as the omnipotent Emperor of Darkness by taking retribution against Terry Bogard. In Episodes of South Town, Krauser will stalk the streets to further his ambitions and see how the city has changed in his absence.

Lastly, Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves is available now for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam and Epic Games Store. Season Pass 2 is available now for $19.99 and includes Kim Jae Hoon, Nightmare Geese, Blue Mary, Wolfgang Krauser, Kenshiro from the Hokuto no Ken -Fist of the North Star-, and one mystery character.
