The official X/Twitter account for the Cardfight!! Vanguard franchise revealed that a new anime in the series will air in 2027. It will commemorate the franchise’s 15th anniversary.
While little details about the anime are known, the first teaser has released, which confirms its release date and showcases the history of the Cardfight!! Vanguard series. Check out the first teaser for the new 2027 anime below:
Recently, Bushiroad announced that the “final arc” of the franchise’s DivineZ saga will first open in theaters in Japan on October 2. Kinema Citrus is animating the film, again featuring original character designs by manga creator group CLAMP. The theatrical anime is titled Cardfight!! Vanguard Divinez Unmei Seisen-hen (Cardfight!! Vanguard Divinez The Fated Star Battle Arc).
Recently, the Cardfight!! Vanguard Divinez Genma Seisen-hen anime premiered on January 10. V.W.P performs the opening theme song “Genkai.” RealRomantic performs the ending theme song “Giragira.”

Cardfight!! Vanguard DivineZ Deluxe Arc premiered on January 11, 2025 on YouTube, followed by the Deluxe Finals arc on July 5. The English dub of Deluxe Finals premiered on October 24. Cardfight Vanguard DivineZ includes the sixth and seventh seasons of the “D Series,” which began with the first season of Cardfight Vanguard overDress in April 2021. After DivineZ Season 1’s dub aired in April, the anime’s second season premiered in July 2024.
