The April 2026 Monthly Comic Dengeki Daioh magazine issue has announced that Motoi Fuyukawa’s A Certain Scientific Railgun manga will end with its next and final chapter on March 27. The next chapter will mark the end of a 19-year run for the A Certain Scientific Railgun manga, which serves as a spin-off of Kazuma Kamachi and Kiyotaka Haimura’s A Certain Magical Index light novel series.
Seven Seas Entertainment releases Fuyukawa’s manga in English, and anime fans can look forward to the continuation of the anime in A Certain Scientific Railgun Season 4.
The cast of A Certain Scientific Railgun Season 4 includes:
- Rina Satō as Mikoto Misaka
- Satomi Arai as Kuroko Shirai
- Aki Toyosaki as Kazari Uiharu
- Kanae Itō as Ruiko Saten
Tatsuyuki Nagai will return to direct the anime series at J.C. Staff. Kiyotaka Haimura is credited with the original character designs as well.
All three seasons of the A Certain Scientific Railgun anime are streaming now on Crunchyroll with English and Japanese voice-overs.
