To celebrate the game’s first anniversary, Capcom has revealed an updated roadmap for Monster Hunter Wilds coming this February and beyond, including a new expansion. The version 1.041 update is up next on February 18 with tempered Arkveld, 10-star Arch Tempered Monsters, new Event Quests, a Monster Hunter Stories 3: Twisted Reflection collaboration event, and much more for Monster Hunter Wilds.
A large-scale expansion for Monster Hunter Wilds is in the works with more details to be revealed this summer. According to producer Ryozo Tsujimoto, the expansion is on a scale similar to Monster Hunter World: Iceborne and Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak.

Monster Hunter Wilds is available for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam. Before launch, Final Weapon reviewed Monster Hunter Wilds and gave it a 4 out of 5 score, noting that the game is “a worthy follow-up to Capcom’s most successful game ever.”
