Nintendo has announced that a new Nintendo Direct Partner Showcase will take place on February 5 at 6 AM PDT/9 AM EDT/2 PM GMT on YouTube. The event will last 30 minutes and focus on games for both the Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2.
If previous Partner Showcases are any indication, the upcoming Direct will focus on multiple third-party games. You can expect to see news from indie and major AAA developers, the latter of which will likely include Capcom, Square Enix, Koei Tecmo, and Bandai Namco/From Software. Currently, the upcoming confirmed third-party titles for the Nintendo Switch 2 include Elden Ring: Tarnished Edition, Pragmata, and The Duskbloods, among others.

The next major third-party game for the Nintendo Switch 2, Resident Evil Requiem, will release for the Nintendo Switch 2 on February 27. A special edition Resident Evil Requiem Nintendo Switch 2 Pro Controller ($99.99) with designs from the game and a gunmetal-black finish will be available from Nintendo on launch day, and pre-orders are live in the My Nintendo Store. A Grace Resident Evil Requiem amiibo will launch in summer 2026.
Fans can also look forward to Nintendo Switch 2 versions of Resident Evil biohazard Gold Edition and Resident Evil Village Gold Edition, launching the same day as Resident Evil Requiem. A Resident Evil Generation Pack bundle, exclusive to Nintendo Switch 2, will include all three games. Pre-orders are available now for $89.99 in the Nintendo eShop.
