COLOPL has announced that Kazuma Kaneko’s Tsukuyomi will release for Nintendo Switch on April 23. It will cost $24.99.

Kaneko previously worked on Shin Megami Tensei and Persona as the series’ character and demon designer. Tsukyomi is based on his previous game, titled Tsukuyomi: The Divine Hunter, and is available now on Android and iOS. It’s worth noting that Tsukuyomi is made using a GenAI model, which generates images for the cards, and is trained on art from Kaneko that is based on player actions and choices. However, the model that actively creates new cards is not available in the Switch version, and instead, only a curated set of the AI cards are available in the port.

Lastly, the game’s website describes it as follows:

Tokyo, 20XX.

Rising from the bay stands “THE HASHIRA”—a massive, high-tech complex dominating the skyline. It was supposed to be the pinnacle of luxury living. A perfect fusion of design and technology. But that dream died overnight.

A plasma barrier snapped shut around the tower, sealing it off from the rest of the world. Trapped inside, the residents had nowhere to run as the “Jinma”—abominations from beyond the rift—began their slaughter.

In the midst of this nightmare, Izayoi Tsukuyomi, an agent of the NCO, steps into the breach. His mission: infiltrate the demon-infested skyscraper. Waiting at the summit is either the restoration of order… or ruin at the hands of an ancient god.
