Square Enix has unveiled a full remake of Romancing SaGa 3, titled Romancing SaGa 3: Destinies United, during the September 9 Nintendo Direct presentation. This brand-new version of the 1995 game will bring 3D graphics, new musical arrangements, voice acting, gameplay updates, and more. The team behind Trials of Mana and Romancing SaGa 2: Revenge of the Seven is responsible for Destinies United.
The game features eight different protagonists: Mikhail, Monika, Katarina, Khalid, Julian, Thomas, Sarah, and Ellen; you can control any of these and start the journey from their perspective. Additionally, you’ll be able to recruit over 20 other characters who all have unique abilities and stats. For those new to SaGa, options like selectable difficulty can help ease you into the combat and gameplay systems the series has to offer.

Romancing SaGa 3: Destinies United releases for Nintendo Switch 2, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC on February 16, 2027.
