The February 2026 issue of Hakusensha’s LaLa magazine confirmed that the second and final volume of Mechanical Marie+, the sequel to Aki Akimoto’s Mechanical Marie manga series, will ship on March 5, 2026. The final chapter of the Mechanical Marie sequel manga was released on December 24 in Japan.
Mechanical Marie began as a one-shot in LaLa magazine in March 2020, before being serialized there from June 2020 to June 2023. Akimoto launched Mechanical Marie+ in April 2025. Yen Press is licensing the manga in English.
The anime adaptation of Mechanical Marie ran from October 5 to December 21. A total of 12 episodes were released with English subs on Crunchyroll.
Harutya performs the opening theme song “Honto to Uso (Truth and Lies).” Nao Tōyama will perform the ending theme song “Cross Heart ~Itsuwari no Nai Kimochi (Feelings With No Lies).”
