Cygames and Arc System Works have revealed patch notes for the version 2.60 update for Granblue Fantasy Versus: Rising, which will be available alongside Granblue Fantasy Versus: Rising Legendary Edition for Nintendo Switch 2 on September 17. As previously announced, Granblue Fantasy Versus: Rising update 2.60 will introduce Super Ultimate+ control scheme and Chain Attacks alongside several new changes and DLC character Id.

Granblue Fantasy Versus: Rising Update 2.60 Patch Notes
A new playable character, Id, has been added alongside character balance adjustments. A new battle system, control scheme, battle stage, and illustrations available in the Journal have also been added.
New DLC Character
- Id has been added as a playable character.
- Id (Godmight) has been added as a Premium Avatar.
- A music track, weapon skins, badges, trophies, card design, sticker, Figure Studio assets (poses, expressions, and Quest Parchment object), and crew icon for Id have been added.
Id must be unlocked as a playable character to access these features (except stickers and crew icons).
- Id has been added to the Rupie Shop under Special Content.

New Stage
Ainsteddo Archipelago has been added as a playable stage.
Arcade Mode
- Id will now appear as a potential opponent.
- The voice line that plays when defeating Lucilius in Battle 8 and Versusia in Battle EX has been adjusted.
- This affects all characters whose voice lines play here.
Training Mode
- The following actions have been added under Counter-attack Settings:
- Dash L
- Dash M
- Dash H
Survival Mode
- Id will now appear as a potential opponent.

The following items have been added to the Rupie Shop:

- Id character colors no. 5–23
- Character color 23 for 20 characters

Main Menu

Options
- Endless Ragnarok Data Link has been added under System Settings.
- Tie-in bonuses can be received for linking data with Endless Ragnarok in the following ways:
- (PS5/PS4) Having Endless Ragnarok DLC save data on the same console.
- (Switch 2) Having Endless Ragnarok save data on the same console.
- (Steam) Having Endless Ragnarok in your Steam Library.
- Tie-in bonuses can be received for linking data with Endless Ragnarok in the following ways:
Journal
(PS5/PS4/Steam only) Various illustrations have been added to the Other section of the Artwork section.
They can be purchased for 50 rupies each.
These illustrations can be set as the background illustration of the Quick Menu.
These illustrations do not count towards the requirements for trophies or achievements.
Versus Mode
The Super Ultimate Plus control scheme has been added.
This control scheme is based on Super Ultimate, but has modified attributes for characters.
Super Ultimate Plus is not available for 2B, Gran (EX), Djeeta (EX), Narmaya (EX), and Lunalu.
Grand Bruise!
- The minimum number of players to start a game has been reduced to 3.
- Golem Defense Force will no longer be chosen as the second stage if there are 3 or fewer players remaining in the game.
Bug Fixes and Other Changes
- Fixed an issue where the number of wins displayed on the Profile and player rankings would not match.
- The number of wins displayed on your Profile may change as a result of this fix.
- Fixed an issue with Button Configuration where button icons would not update even after changing the Button Display Type. As part of this fix, →→ + L, →→ + M, and →→ + H have been removed from Wilnas’s Command List.
- Fixed an issue where pressing an attack button at a certain timing while in attack recovery would result in a successful throw break when being thrown by an enemy.
- Fixed an issue with match stations and mini-game stations where pressing the ready button and other certain buttons simultaneously while the Waiting Options or mini-game selection screen would perform the action corresponding to the button pressed.
- (Steam only) Fixed an issue in Online Lobbies and Room Matches where opening the Communication dialog at the same time as the chat log refreshes due to reaching the message limit would cause inputs other than switching between Player Name and Online ID to not function.
- (Steam only) Fixed an issue with the chat in Online Lobbies and Room Matches where inputting a message where predictive text causes the message to exceed the character limit and then canceling text input would cause the chat window to become uncancelable.
- Fixed an issue in Training Mode where the technical input damage bonus would apply to canceled skills when selecting Position Reset immediately after using a technical input with Cagliostro’s Collapse level set to 1 or higher.
- (Steam only) Fixed an issue with the Replay Board in Room Matches where inputting certain actions when using the following characters in Training Mode with a PlayStation®4 user would cause an application error:

- Lucilius
- 2B
- The character select voices for the following characters have been changed to the English voices when playing on the Japanese version of the game:
- Anila
- Grimnir
- Beatrix
- Vikala

Granblue Fantasy Versus: Rising is available now on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and PC via Steam. As previously announced, Granblue Fantasy Versus: Rising update 2.60 will include a new stage, a new system mechanic, adjustments to system mechanics, various character adjustments, a new costume, and “more.”
