A new teaser trailer for the sequel anime for The Prince of Tennis II: U-17 World Cup Semifinal confirms that Shin Tennis no Ōji-sama U-17 World Cup Kesshō Member Ketteisen (The Prince of Tennis II: U-17 World Cup Finals Members Decisive Match) will premiere in fall 2026.

As a sequel anime, The Prince of Tennis II: U-17 World Cup Finals Members Decisive Match will determine who will represent Japan in the finals match against Spain. Fans can catch up by watching U-17 World Cup Semifinal on Crunchyroll, which offers English dubs and subs.

Crunchyroll describes the series as follows:

When tennis phenom Ryoma Echizen is kicked out of Japan’s elite U-17 training camp for breaking the rules, he’s despondent. But a stroke of good luck hits when he’s able to try out for the U.S. team. Proving himself against their hardened veterans isn’t going to be easy, and if he is accepted, he’ll have to play against his former friends. Can he help his new brothers smash their way to victory?

Yoshinobu Tokumoto directed the anime at M.S.C. Akiharu Ishii designed the characters. What’s more, Mitsutaka Hirota handled series composition, and Chihiro Tamaki composed the music.

Konami recently announced The Prince of Tennis: Sweet School Festival 0-40 and more… and The Prince of Tennis: Doki Doki Survival eternal passion, remasters of PlayStation 2 otome visual novels The Prince of Tennis: Gakuensai no Ouji-sama and The Prince of Tennis: Doki Doki Survival. These new remasters will be available for Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC via Steam (2) with Japanese language support only at the time of this writing.
