The anime adaptation of Akira Amano’s Katekyo Hitman Reborn! (also known as REBORN!) manga is making a comeback for its 20th anniversary, and ahead of Jump Festa 2026, a new trailer, logo, and key visual celebrating the milestone were revealed. There will be “new projects” coming soon for the Katekyo Hitman Reborn! anime, with more details to be revealed leading into the 20th anniversary in October 2026.
At Jump Festa 2026, visitors can get new REBORN! merchandise. Fans can head to the Marvelous booth for a Disciplinary Committee, and the ADK Emotions booth has “Dying Will Flame” headbands up for a grabs, while supplies last.
Moreover, short videos for all 203 episodes of the original REBORN! anime will be released on the franchise’s official YouTube channel. Shorts will be released once per day, starting January 4, 2026. At this rate, all shorts will be released by the time the 20th anniversary arrives in October 2026.
Akira Amano launched the REBORN! manga in Weekly Shonen Jump in May 2004, and the series ran until November 2012 with a total of 42 volumes. Studio Artland produced the REBORN! anime from October 2006 to September 2010 with two OVAs in addition to the 203 episodes of the weekly series.
