Tango Gameworks has announced that the PC version of Hi-Fi Rush is removing support for Denuvo, an anti-tampering tool. PC players will be required to update the game by January 16.

The Steam page states the following about the update:

Denuvo support for the PC version of Hi-Fi RUSH is scheduled to end at 00:00(KST) on January 16, 2026. Please note that even after Denuvo is removed, the game’s own anti-tampering features will remain active and will not affect normal gameplay.

This adjustment is intended to provide a more stable and efficient service environment. We sincerely appreciate all players who continue to support the game through legitimate use.

Due to this update, the internal system structure of the game will undergo significant changes. As a result, all PC players will be required to install the latest patch.

    • Patch required by: January 16, 2026, 00:00 (KST)

    • Important: After this time, the game will not run unless the patch has been installed.

Recently, the publishing rights of Hi-Fi RUSH have transferred from Bethesda to KRAFTON, the parent company and owner of Tango Gameworks and the IP. Digital storefronts will be updated over time to disclose that KRAFTON is the publisher of Hi-Fi RUSH. Last year, Maria Park, the KRAFTON head of corporate development, teased its plans for the upcoming release of Hi-Fi Rush 2. She states that, before KRAFTON saved Tango Gameworks from closure, it was already working on a six-month build of the sequel.

Lastly, Hi-Fi RUSH is available now on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam, Epic Games Store, and Microsoft Store.
