Niantic and The Pokémon Company has revealed its latest season for Pokémon GO, Precious Paths, launching on Tuesday, December 2 at 10:00 a.m. local time. Running through March 3 at 10:00 a.m. local time, Pokémon GO Precious Paths will feature new Pokémon such as holiday Sudowoodo, holiday Charjabug, Clobbopus, Grapploct, and more.
During Precious Paths, players can complete new Special Research to earn more rewards, and tickets for Masterwork Research: A Precious Catch will be available for $7.99 until February 22, 2026 at 8:00 p.m. local time. The research presents the opportunity to get a powerful Master Ball.
In addition to the previously mentioned Pokémon, Dynamax Hitmonlee, Dynamax Hitmonchan, Gigantamax Meowth, and more will appear throughout the season. The following Community Day evnets will be held on the following dates as well:
- December Community Day 2025: December 6-7
- January Community Day Classic: January 4
- January Community Day: January 18
- February Community Day: February 1
A new GO Pass will be available during Precious Paths with multiple major milestone bonuses to acquire. Moreover, GO Battle League makes its return with competitions like Holiday Cup, Sunshine Cup, Love Cup, and more.
Research Breakthrough will be available with special encounters with Galarian Mr. Mime, Lapras, Snorlax, Honedge, Sinistea, and Dreepy. If players are lucky, they may encounter Shiny Pokémon. What’s more, Pokémon will begin to appear in different areas across the world, based on their natural habitat and PokéDex entry.
There will be a number of bonuses that will be active throughout the entire season, including one additional Special Trade per day, increased Stardust for the first catch of the day, and increased friendship bonus damage dealt by Pokémon in raids.
