The Drops of God Manga is Getting an Anime Series in 2026

Pony Canyon has announced a TV anime adaptation of Tadashi Agi and Shū Okimoto’s The Drops of God (Kami no Shizuku) manga series is coming in 2026. The anime will air on the Tokyo MX, Kansai TV, and BS NTV channels.

The anime’s cast includes:

  • Takuya Satō as Issei Tomine
  • Kazuya Kamenashi as Shizuku Kanzaki
  • Maaya Uchida as Miyabi Shinohara
  • Banjō Ginga as Yutaka Kanzaki

Kenji Itoso directs the series at Satelight in collaboration with YANCHESTER. Yū Mitsuru supervises and writes the series scripts, Takehiro Suwa designs the characters, and Eishi Segawa composes the music.

Tadashi Agi, the pen name of siblings Shin and Yuko Kibayashi, launched The Drops of God with artist Okimoto in Kodansha’s Morning magazine in 2004. The first manga series in the franchise ended in June 2014. Comixology and Kodansha USA Publishing have released the manga in English digitally.
