Capcom has reported a data breach that has affected over 11 million CAPCOM ID accounts. Email data was accessed by a third party, alongside certain other records.

In a post, Capcom clarifies what was accessed:

Number of affected records: 11,774,247 records (worldwide total)

However, the company has confirmed that passwords were changed without authorization on 196 accounts. The passwords associated with these accounts have already been reset, and the company continues to investigate the scope of any impact resulting from this incident.
