Digital manga platform and publisher Azuki, from KiraKira Media Inc., has changed its name to Omoi. Despite the new name, Omoi will continue to deliver its vast manga catalog, user experience, payment model, and same pricing as always across iOS, Android, and web.

The new Omoi name means “thought” or “feeling in Japanese, and the company notes that it represents the small and hard-working team in charge of manga releases and the general app experience. The name change comes with a new domain, logo, color scheme, and brand identity, at Omoi.com. Omoi can be found on Google Play and iOS under the name Omoi: Manga Reader.

“The name represents a new phase for us, as we greatly expand our catalog in 2026,” said Omoi co-founder and licensing/marketing director Evan Minto. “It also reduces the brand confusion around our old name, which was in use by multiple companies in other industries.”

Minto continued, “We’ve got more planned very soon. Stay tuned for new licensing announcements!”

At Anime NYC 2025, Omoi added the special edition U.S. issue of Young Magazine is now available on the Omoi digital manga platform for free to all users. The special edition of Young Magazine contains over 1,044 pages of content, and the physical copy was being distributed for free to Anime NYC 2025 attendees at the Kinobuniya booth.
