SNK and Netmarble have released a new update for THE KING OF FIGHTERS AFK featuring Legendary fighter Rugal Bernstein, the host of The King of Fighters ’94. Rugal is reimagined in his The King of Fighters ’98, which is highly regarded as the most complete version of the iconic boss.
In THE KING OF FIGHTERS AFK, Rugal can use his Finisher Skill to grant the Empowerment buff to his allies, which increases the damage dealt from the skill by 15% and deals damage to a target. Players can obtain the boss from the Rugal Bernstein Pick-Up Event, which runs until November 26 with a higher chance to recruit him to their rosters.
In addition, the [Spike] Synergy Pick-Up Summon Event is also available through November 26 with an increased opportunity to recruit fighters with the [Spike] Synergy. The Lucky Elpy Event will also be available from November 17 to November 20 with a chance to recruit a new Legendary supporter, Fio Germi. The Secret Agent Event is planned to run from November 20 through December 3, offering players a chance to meet Legendary pets Rukal and Agent A.
