Nintendo has added Super Mario Sunshine to the Nintendo GameCube – Nintendo Classics lineup for Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack members on Nintendo Switch 2. Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack members simply need to head back into the GameCube – Nintendo Classics app for a quick update in order play Super Mario Sunshine. A new trailer was also released.
Before its arrival on Nintendo Switch 2, the only way Nintendo Switch fans could play Super Mario Sunshine natively was through the Super Mario 3D All-Stars collection, which was delisted from the Nintendo eShop in March 2021.
On Nintendo Switch 2, Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack members also have access to various other Nintendo GameCube games, including Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance, Luigi’s Mansion, Pokémon XD: Gale of Darkness, Super Mario Strikers, SoulCalibur 2, The Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker, and F-ZERO GX. A Nintendo Switch Online-exclusive GameCube controller is also available now for $69.99.
Nintendo launched the Virtual Boy – Nintendo Classics lineup for Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack library on February 17. The Virtual Boy accessory for Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2 is available for $99.99 at the My Nintendo Store. A cardboard version of the Virtual Boy accessory is also available for $24.99 at the My Nintendo Store as well.
