XD Games announced a collaboration between tactical turn-based RPG Sword of Convallaria and CD Projekt Red’s The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt. A pixel sprite of Geralt in a bathtub was revealed as a teaser, and more details about the Sword of Convallaria and The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt collaboration are “coming soon.”
Sword of Convallaria is inspired by classic Square Enix RPGs such as Tactics Ogre and Final Fantasy Tactics. Hitoshi Sakimoto (Final Fantasy Tactics, Valkyria Chronicles) composed the score, and the game has a voice cast featuring prominent Japanese voice actors like Kazuhiko Inoue, Aoi Yūki, and Takuya Eguchi. The turn-based RPG previously collaborated with the Delicious in Dungeon anime and manga series to expand the game with “creative collaborations.”
