Marvelous and Honey∞Parade Games announced Project N, a new Senran Kagura game for Android and iOS. Project N launches in 2026 in Japan, and the game follows a story of five new shinobi girls set three years after the release of Shinobi Master Senran Kagura New Link.
Character designs for Project N are handled by Nan Yaegashi. Gekkou and Senkou, who appeared at the end of the Shinobi Master Senran Kagura New Link, will appear in the new game. The press release teases new shinobis, a new school, and a mysterious new girl.
Shinobi Master Senran Kagura New Link ended service on May 30, but an offline version was made available for Android and iOS. The offline version features the game’s story, costume customization, and diorama, allowing players to continue playing without needing to connect to servers.
Shinobi Master Senran Kagura New Link collaborated with Brown Dust 2 in October 2024. The collaboration saw Yomi and Hikage from Homura’s Crimson Squad and Yozakura and Yumi from the Gessen Girls’ Academy as featured characters in the Brown Dust 2 collaboration event. The Event Pack introduces a collaboration story with various main quests in the field. Justia takes center stage in the story as she suddenly finds herself in the world of Senran Kagura.
The latest game in the Senran Kagura series is Neptunia x Senran Kagura: Ninja Wars, a collaboration title developed by Compile Heart. Neptunia x Senran Kagura: Ninja Wars released first in October 2021 for PlayStation 4, followed by Nintendo Switch in April 2022 and PC (Steam) in May 2022. Final Weapon reviewed the PlayStation 4 version of Neptunia x Senran Kagura: Ninja Wars before launch and gave it a 3.5 out of 5 score.
