Bandai Namco and Media.Vision’s turn-based RPG Digimon Story Time Stranger has become the top-selling game on Steam ahead of its official launch, beating out the likes of Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 and Final Fantasy Tactics – The Ivalice Chronicles on the week of September 28 – October 4. Digimon Story Time Stranger will unlock on Steam for players around the world on October 2.

Digimon Story Time Stranger launches October 3 worldwide for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC with Japanese and English voice overs. A free demo of Digimon Story Time Stranger is available now on all platforms featuring the opening sequence and save data transfers to the full game. The game will receive collaboration in-game T-shirts featuring various Bandai Namco IPs, including Tekken 8, Tales of Arise, and Taiko no Tatsujin. The “Anime Song Pack” DLC will also be available.
What’s more, Bandai Namco released patch notes for the Digimon Story Time Stranger day one update, revealing a save data transfer option from the demo and default 60 FPS for the Steam version. The day one update also adds Dash functionality, various stat-boosting items to maps in the human world, and many other adjustments in Digimon Story Time Stranger. In addition, Digimon Story Time Stranger Anime Short: Prelude is coming at a later date.
