The official website for the You and Idol Precure anime film has confirmed that cast member Misato Matsuoka voices the “legendary idol,” who plays an important role in the film. Matsuoka also voices Cure Idol/Uta Sakura in the You and Idol Precure film.
You and Idol Precure began screening in theaters on September 12 in Japan.
The previously announced cast for You and Idol Precure includes Maaya Uchida as Tera, Ayane Sakura as Amas, Misato Matsuoka as Cure Idol/Uta Sakura, Minami Takahashi as Cure Wink/Nana Aokaze, and Natsumi Takamori as Cure Kyun-Kyun/Kororo Shigure. The five Precure girls (as voiced by their respective cast members) will perform the “♪HiBiKi Au Uta♪” theme song.
