Konami has announced that Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater has surpassed one million copies sold worldwide on launch day, August 28. The sales figure includes physical shipments and digital copies of Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater sold.
This fall, the new Fox Hunt online mode for Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater will be available in a free update. Fox Hunt offers the “camouflage and hide-and-go-seek” gameplay that players expect, with some unique elements to Metal Gear.
Before launch, Konami released the updated opening movie for Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater. The opening movies features visuals that combine cutscenes from the game and abstract depictions of a snake skeleton. Norihiko Hibino wrote the main theme, “Snake Eater,” and Cynthia Harrell performed it.
