SEGA has teamed up with Cartridge Thunder Records to release a Virtua Fighter 3tb soundtrack vinyl with all 30 iconic tunes from legendary composer Takenobu Mitsuyoshi. Mitsuyoshi is also featured in the liner notes of the Virtua Fighter 3tb soundtrack vinyl.
All 30 tracks were remastered and pressed on translucent “frosty” and orange vinyl. Pre-orders for the Virtua Fighter 3tb soundtrack vinyl are available now for $36 at Cartridge Thunder Records with an estimated ship date of November 2025.
Previously, SEGA revealed Training Stage gameplay footage of New VIRTUA FIGHTER Project featuring Akira Yuki and Sarah Bryant at EVO 2025. In addition, SEGA and Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio confirmed Virtua Fighter 5 R.E.V.O World Stage will release on October 30 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam, followed by the Nintendo Switch 2 version at a later date.
Virtua Fighter 5 R.E.V.O World Stage will feature a brand-new mode, the new DLC character Dural, cross-play across all platforms, rollback netcode, and more. In addition, a closed beta test for Virtua Fighter 5 R.E.V.O World Stage will be held in early September on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam with cross-play. It’s free for all players, and those who participate earn a free in-game title in the full game.
What’s more, all Virtua Fighter 5 R.E.V.O players on Steam will receive the World Stage edition of the game via a free update. On PlayStation 5, Virtua Fighter 5: Ultimate Showdown players purchase the new edition for a discounted price of $9.99 (MSRP: $19.99) with DLC carrying over. Pre-orders for the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S versions are now open with the SEGA Genesis character customization item as a pre-order bonus. Lastly, pre-orders for the Nintendo Switch 2 version open at a later date.
