Yū Mitsuki released a manga adaptation of Makoto Sanda’s Witch’s Deduction (Majo Suiri) novels on Kadokawa’s Kadocomi manga website.

The story of Witch’s Deduction follows Kunori Orizue, a mysterious girl who calls herself a “witch,” due to all the questionable things that happen around her. She reunites with a childhood friend named Takumi, who becomes entangled in the various incidents surrounding Kunori.

Sanda published the Witch’s Deduction novel in August 2023. The second novel was released in December 2023.

In April 2019, Sanda and illustrator Isuo Tsukumo released The Ancient Magus’ Bride: Wizard’s Blue, as a spinoff manga of Kore Yamazaki’s The Ancient Magus’ Bride. The manga ended in March 2024. Seven Seas licensed the manga and released the eighth volume in April 2024.

Additionally, Sanda published his Rental Magica light novel series from 2004 to 2013 in 24 volumes. The novel series was serialized in Kadokawa’s The Sneaker light novel magazine until it ceased publication in 2011. A 24-episode television anime adaptation premiered in 2007. Right Stuf released the series on DVD in North America.
