Sanrio has announced a new line of clear cases for the Nintendo Switch 2. The accessories will release exclusively in Japan on August 8, 2025.
Six styles of the Allone cases will be available. Each will feature a specific Sanrio character: Hello Kitty, Cinnamoroll, Kuromi, My Melody, Pochacco, and Pompompurin. The cases, designed to snap onto the console, will each cost 2,530円 (or approximately $17). Each will be available to purchase on the Allone website. It is currently unknown if the accessories will release worldwide at a later date.
Recently, Sanrio and Sunblink released Hello Kitty Island Adventure on PlayStation 5 on August 5. The PS5 version of Hello Kitty Island Adventure will be available digitally and physically. It also announced that season 2 of its JOCHUM anime will premiere on October 4, 2025. JOCHUM features characters created by Sanrio in collaboration with the Japanese boy band, JO1.
Physical editions for Hello Kitty Island Adventure for PS5 and Nintendo Switch will cost $39.99 and be available at local retailers on August 29. On November 7, the $59.99 Gift Box edition will release. It will include Deluxe Starter and Crafting Bundles, a printed Critter and Fish guide, a set of exclusive collectable cards, Tophat’s Memories, and a premium double-sided poster.
Before launch, Final Weapon had the opportunity to preview Hello Kitty Island Adventure, which showed that it was shaping up to be an excellent title at the time. Final Weapon also reviewed Hello Kitty Island Adventure and gave it a 4/5 score, claiming it to be the perfect vacation for Sanrio fans. The game is now available on Nintendo Switch, Apple Arcade, and PC via Steam.
