Using A-1 Pictures’ know-how, the new label is aimed at pursuing greater freedom of creative expression than has been possible until now. It also aims to challenge new and young creators with innovative planning and production workflows. The label is already working on multiple new projects.
Moreover, Aniplex of America recently announced that it will be theatrically releasing Yasuomi Umetsu’s Clockwork Girl, the first story in the Virgin Punk anime, in the US. Clockwork Girl initially premiered in Japan on June 27 at Cine Libre Ikebukuro in Tokyo and Theatre Umeda in Osaka. The film opened at #1 in the mini-theater rankings.
