Nintendo announced that Nintendo Switch Game Vouchers will be discontinued and no longer available for purchase starting January 30, 2026, at 11:59 p.m. PST. Any vouchers purchased on or before the deadline date will work exactly as intended, with unused vouchers set to expire 12 months after the purchase.
With these vouchers, Nintendo Switch Online members may purchase two select Nintendo Switch titles digitally from the Nintendo eShop for a combined total of $99.98. For example, players can save roughly $20 by claiming Fire Emblem Engage and Splatoon 3 with the vouchers. If someone were to purchase the game vouchers on January 30, 2026, the vouchers would expire on January 30, 2027. It’s also worth noting that the vouchers doesn’t work on Nintendo Switch 2 games, however.
