Capcom has revealed its full lineup of games that will be present during Gamescom 2025, including a catalog of playable demos for upcoming releases. The event will feature games such as Pragmata, Resident Evil Requiem, and Onimusha: Way of the Sword, all of which will release in 2026.
The Capcom show floor at Gamescom 2025, located at Hall 9, will also include the Nintendo Switch 2 versions of Street Fighter 6 and Kunitsu-Gami: Path of the Goddess. There will also be a “cinema experience” and several live-streamed programs for attendees. Gamescom 2025 will take place in Cologne, Germany from August 20-24.
Resident Evil Requiem is the ninth mainline entry in the Resident Evil franchise. The game will release on February 27, 2026 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam. Final Weapon had the opportunity to experience hands-off gameplay of Resident Evil Requiem at Summer Game Fest.
In Resident Evil Requiem, protagonist Grace Ashcroft, an employee of the Federal Bureau of Investigation, is set to journey back to where it all began: Raccoon City. Players will have the choice to choose between first and third-person perspectives, which will allow for two completely different horror experiences.
