The game will launch on July 18 for Nintendo Switch, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, and PC via Steam. A Digital Deluxe Edition of Shadow Labyrinth will be available on all platforms featuring a digital artbook and soundtrack, and digital pre-orders are going live with special bonuses.
Bandai Namco is celebrating the 45th anniversary of PAC-MAN with a year-long campaign full of announcements, collaborations, and much more. For example, PowerA will release special-edition PAC-MAN controllers and accessories for Nintendo Switch and Xbox platforms. There will also be new toys by dreamGEAR and arcade machines by Arcade1Up. PAC-MAN is also getting a special display at the Museum of Pop Culture in Seattle from April 30 to June 4, with a themed event on May 10. The Great Park Gallery in Irvine, California will then host a PAC-MAN exhibition from May 18 to September 28.
Bandai Namco revealed that Tekken 8 Season 2 will feature multiple returning characters and a new stage celebrating the 45th anniversary of PAC-MAN. The DLC will be released throughout the summer and fall, and an all-new character and stage will be released in winter 2025.
