Bandai Namco announced that the company will be celebrating the 45th anniversary of PAC-MAN with a year-long campaign full of announcements, collaborations, and much more. The campaign, which runs into early 2026, revolves around the theme of “imPACt.”

To kick off the celebration, Bandai Namco released a new trailer, directed by Miles Cable of Bodega Virtual and produced by LEFT. The trailer was developed in Unreal Engine to showcase PAC-MAN across multiple eras.

The PAC-MAN 45th anniversary campaign includes the release of Shadow Labyrinth, a new 2D action platformer with an alternate take on PAC-MAN. The new title is coming to Nintendo Switch, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, and PC via Steam, and more details will be revealed in the coming months.

Fans can also expect PAC-MAN Simulator to make its debut in Roblox, in collaboration with Supersocial. Bandai Namco is also teaming up with PowerA to release special-edition PAC-MAN for Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S platforms. There will also be new toys by dreamGEAR and arcade machines by Arcade1Up.

Little Lion Entertainment will collaborate with Bandai Namco Europe to launch the “PAC-MAN Live Experience” on March 22 at Manchester’s Arcade Arena in the UK. PAC-MAN is also getting a special display at the Museum of Pop Culture in Seattle from April 30 to June 4, with a themed event on May 10. The Great Park Gallery in Irvine, California will then host a PAC-MAN exhibition from May 18 to September 28.

There will be even more anniversary celebrations outside of gaming, including a new PAC-MAN cookbook by Insight Editions, PAC-MAN-branded soccer jerseys at themed Club América events, and new items, apparel, and accessories at Walmart and Five Below.

Fans can join the official PAC-MAN Discord server now, and the anniversary website is now live.
