Kadokawa has released a music video preview for one of the new songs in the Haruhi Suzumiya light novel franchise. The full video and track will premiere on July 28.

Recently, a crowdfunding campaign took place that would allow fans to fund more tracks for the Haruhi Suzumiya series. Two more songs are in development after meeting one of the goals in the campaign. Satoru Kōsaki will compose one of the tracks, whereas Tsubasa Ito will perform one of the other songs.
Recently, the staff of the Haruhi Suzumiya franchise released The Theater of Haruhi Suzumiya light novel on November 29. It will released simultaneously worldwide with two previously released short stories and a new sequel to those stories. Yen Press describes the light novel series as follows:
