Major League Baseball released a new Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba short film in collaboration with Aniplex and studio ufotable. The short film depicts the evolution of Japanese baseball while incorporating elements of the Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba series, including breathing techniques, into current day MLB stars.
In addition, the official MLB Twitter/X account teases that new merchandise for the Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba collaboration will be revealed soon.
Moreover, Crunchyroll and Sony Pictures Entertainment announced the first Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Infinity Castle film will premiere on September 12 in the US and Canada. The film is also coming various countries around the world through August and September, including most of Europe.
The first film in the Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Infinity Castle trilogy premieres first on July 18 in Japan. It will play on 443 screens through Japan, setting a new record for the franchise. Advance tickets will be available in the form of MoviTicke Cards starting March 7. Seven more MoviTicke Cards featuring key visuals will go on sale starting April 4.
In addition, SEGA, Aniplex, and CyberConnect2 will release Demon Slayer -Kimetsu no Yaiba- The Hinokami Chronicles 2 on August 5 for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam. Digital pre-orders for the new title are now available for PlayStation, Xbox, and Steam platforms. Switch pre-orders will open at a later date. Standard Edition copies will be sold physically and digitally for $59.99.
