    MLB The Show 25 Reveals New Gameplay Trailer

    The game will release on March 18.

    Sony San Diego has released the first gameplay trailer for MLB The Show 25. The trailer showcases some of the new modes, features, athletes, and more. Check out the gameplay trailer for MLB The Show 25 below:

    MLB The Show 25 will release on PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, and Xbox Series X|S on March 18. Early access, available to Digital Deluxe Edition owners, will begin on March 14. The game will have three cover athletes for the first time in series history: Paul Skenes, Elly De La Cruz, and Gunnar Henderson.

    According to a recent PlayStation Blog post, MLB The Show 25 will feature the following:

    • Road to the Show
      • Start with two to three games in High School, then play three to four College games in The Amateur Years.
      • Includes authentic High School and College audio.
    • Franchise
      • Every choice matters with the newly revitalized Free Agency system, which adds risk/reward elements, strategy, and excitement to the pursuit of the top free agents each offseason. 
    • Diamond Dynasty
      • No more sets and seasons.
      • Two new places to play: Diamond Quest, a risk-and-reward board game-like mode, and a highly competitive multiplayer mode in Weekend Classic featuring some of the best rewards. 
      • Fans can earn also top rewards in their favorite modes at various points in the year.
    • Gameplay Improvements
      • Hundreds of new animations.
      • G.O.A.T. difficulty.
      • All-new ambush hitting.
      • New reaction time system.
      • First-person mode.
    • Storylines Presents: The Negro Leagues Season 3
      • Once more includes narration from Negro Leagues Baseball Museum president, Bob Kendrick.

    Lastly, MLB The Show 25 will release on March 18 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. Pre-orders are available now.
