Van Arkride can grow closer to his companions and unlock useful stat bonuses by giving them gifts in The Legend of Heroes: Trails through Daybreak II. Players can also unlock some trophies/achievements by finding all gifts and giving them to their recipients.
48 gifts may be acquired in The Legend of Heroes: Trails through Daybreak II by visiting shops in Edith and other locations across Calvard. Only 30 gift items are required for the Giftsmaxxing trophy, but it’s necessary to find all 48 for the My Friends are My Power trophy/achievement, which requires raising Connection Stages to max for all characters. As a result, keep an eye out for shops labeled on the map in red with “New,” since they have new gifts and other items in stock.

How to Get More Connection Points After Getting All Gifts
If you still haven’t maxed out Connection Stages with playable characters, you can still get gifts in the form of Gem Cards. Gem Cards can be earned from the Mystic Cube in the Märchen Garten, and it awards 20 Connection Points each. This is especially useful in the Finale.
