Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater Releases on August 28

Today at State of Play, Konami revealed that Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater will release on August 28 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam. This follows the leaked trailer on the PlayStation Store. The trailer also confirmed the return of the iconic monkeys from Sony Interactive Entertainment’s Ape Escape series and “more” in Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater.

Konami first announced Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater in May 2023. In October 2023, Konami revealed a look at the game’s graphics in an Unreal Engine 5 trailer. During the recent Xbox Games Showcase in June 2025, Konami showcased several more of the remake’s story, graphics, and gameplay, and the publisher also revealed physical editions.
