    Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater Reveals New Trailer in Unreal Engine 5

    A new look at one of gaming's most anticipated remakes.

    Today, Konami revealed an all-new look at Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater during the Xbox Partner Preview event. The remake of Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater is a collaboration between Konami and Virtuos. Veteran MGS developers are working on the project at Konami. It was confirmed that the Snake Eater remake will be developed in Unreal Engine 5.

    Originally, this project was revealed in May 2023. As of now, you can expect to see it launch across PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam. The new trailer showcased our first look at in-engine footage, as the reveal was fully in CGI.

    The new in-engine footage showcases Naked Snake navigating muddy waters with some very impressive visuals and physics. Additionally, we see a few camps of enemies across the iconic locations of Snake Eater. Check out the new trailer below:

    Simultaneously, we will deliver the METAL GEAR SOLID: MASTER COLLECTION series, the most complete compilation that celebrates the 35th anniversary of the series. The METAL GEAR SOLID: MASTER COLLECTION allow fans to play the games as they were, as first released on the latest platforms.

    MGS Delta: Snake Eater to Use Unreal Engine 5

    At the end of the trailer, it was confirmed that the game would be developed in Unreal Engine 5. Many speculated since it was revealed what engine MGS Delta would use, and this has finally been confirmed to be UE5.

    Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater will launch across PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam. A release window or date has not been confirmed at this time.
