Meta and 2K have announced a VR version of Civilization VII. It will release in Spring 2025 for Meta Quest 3 and 3S. The new version will utilize the classic, top-down view of the franchise in a board game-like setup. This is called the Command Table.
Players will be able to look down from above to the Command Table. This will allow them to strategize their moves or lean all the way in to appreciate their civilization. Check out the trailer for the VR version of Civilization VII below:
