Xbox announced the new Xbox Wireless Controller Pulse Cipher Special Edition, which will launch on February 4 for $74.99. Pre-orders are now available with free shipping in the Microsoft Store.
The Xbox Wireless Controller Pulse Cipher Special Edition releases just in time for Valentine’s Day. It features a red transparent top case with rubberized red grips and metallic red triggers and D-pad. The silver interior parts are able to shine right through the transparent case.




Like all other Xbox Wireless Controllers, the Pulse Cipher Special Edition can easily pair and switch between Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, Windows PC, Android, and iOS. Players can plug in any compatible headset with the 3.5mm stereo headset jack as well. The controller runs up to 40 hours on AA batteries.
Xbox fans can look forward to the January 23 Xbox Developer Direct. The event will feature updates from id Software, Compulsion Games, and Sandfall Interactive, on Doom: The Dark Ages, South of Midnight, and Clair Obscur: Expedition 33. Additionally, the event will also highlight a surprise studio working on a “brand new game.”
The event will start at 10:00 a.m. PST / 1:00 p.m. EST. Further, the games mentioned will be available at some point this year on Xbox Series X|S. Some may also be available on other consoles, as well as Xbox Game Pass.
