    Fortnite Adding Kong and Mechagodzilla on January 16

    Who will win: monkey or big robot?

    Epic Games has announced that Fortnite will add Kong and Mechagodzilla to the game’s shop. They will be available tomorrow, January 16. The recent season also features Godzilla in the battle pass. Players will be able to use both characters after purchase in the main battle royale mode, the Fortnite Festival mode, and the LEGO modes.     Fortnite is available now on the Nintendo Switch, PC, iOS, Android, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S. Recently, Epic Games announced that the sub-mode, Fortnite Festival, will get a local multiplayer mode. The local multiplayer mode is available now on PlayStation and Xbox. It is unknown if they will release on Nintendo Switch or PC. The mode is described as follows:

    Play in a band with friends or perform solo on stage with hit music by your favorite artists in Fortnite Festival! On the Main Stage, play a featured rotation of Jam Tracks. Compete against friends for the best performance or team up to climb the leaderboards. The festival is just beginning with more Jam Tracks, Music Icons, concerts, and stages coming soon. Take your stage in Fortnite Festival!

    Lastly, Epic Games will reveal more details about the future of Fortnite in the coming days, weeks, and months. Kong, Mechagodzilla, Godzilla, and the recently added Hatsune Miku are available now in the Fortnite battle pass and store. Further, more pop culture characters will likely be added to the game soon.
