Epic Games announced Hatsune Miku will join Fortnite with a new Neko Hatsune Miku Outfit on January 14 at the start of Fortnite Festival Season 7. The season will begin with the v33.20 update.
Hatsune Miku heads to the Festival Main Stage to perform as the season’s Icon, and players can get a new Music Pass for 1,400 V-Bucks or through Fortnite Crew. The Music Pass immediately unlocks the iconic Neko Hatsune Miku Outfit, which has a LEGO Style. At the end of the Music Pass is Neko Hatsune Miku’s Brite Hatsune Miku Style, which is inspired by Brite Bomber and the Fortnite Battle Royale Supply Llama.

Other premium rewards include the Neko Miku Keytar and Neko Miku Guitar. There’s also an unlockable Miku Brite Style of the Neko Miku Keytar. Moreover, the M@GICAL☆CURE! LOVE ♥ SHOT! Jam Track feat. Hatsune Miku by SAWTOWNE is unlockable near the end of the Music Pass.
The following Jam Tracks will also be available:
- Britney Spears – “Work Work”
- Cake – “Short Skirt/Long Jacket”
- Jennifer Lopez – “Love Don’t Cost A Thing”
Alongside Hatsune Miku, Fortnite Festival Season 7 brings a new local multiplayer feature on PlayStation and Xbox consoles. In a local play session of Festival Main Stage, up to four players can now play together on the same console.
The new NEO S Purple Wave Edition controller from CRKD makes for a great pairing with Fortnite Festival, thanks to the controller’s unique attachment. The attachment replicates guitar frets to give players a nostalgic and immersive experience in Fortnite Festival. NEO S Purple Wave Edition units are available now at CRKD.gg.
Fortnite is available now for Android, iOS, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Epic Games Store. Lastly, Fortnite Festival Season 7 lasts until April 8, 2025.
