CRKD announced the all-new NEO S Purple Wave Edition, a special edition Fortnite Festival-themed controller for mobile, PC, and Nintendo Switch. It’s available to purchase starting today at CRKD.gg for $59.99, with global shipping expected to begin between November 29 and December 6.
The NEO S Purple Wave Edition honors the legacy of rhythm-based controllers with a Festival Attachment that replicates the frets of a guitar. Specifically, the attachment features five action buttons that bring you even greater immersion while playing Fortnite Festival. This new controller was designed and manufactured in-house by CRKD, including team members that were behind the iconic hardware for Guitar Hero and DJ Hero.
Gamers can also expect all of the headlining features of CRKD’s NEO S controller. These features include Hall Effect thumbsticks that eliminate stick drift, a “No Deadzone Mode,” integrated motion controls, and adjustable trigger sensitivity. Moreover, the controller’s remappable back buttons provide extra control options, along with adjustable vibration settings and swappable stick tops.
Since NEO S Purple Wave Edition supports Bluetooth, the controller is compatible with Nintendo Switch, PC, Android, and iOS. CRKD also ensures that compatibility with Xbox is also coming very soon, so Xbox gamers will be able to use this controller on their favorite consoles.
Further, the controller is fully compatible with CRKD’s True Collection System, a free mobile app for iOS and Android. The app lets you register the product number and rarity ranking for CRKD hardware in your personal and secure collection. The app’s CTRL feature also lets you customize adjustable features of the controller.
