During CES 2025, PXN announced the release of the new P5 Controller featuring dual Hall Effect magnetic joysticks and adjustable travel triggers. The controller is available now at Amazon and PXN-game.com for $34.99 in black or white.
Thanks to the 1000Hz polling rate, the PXN P5 Controller thumbsticks and triggers feel responsive and precise on Nintendo Switch, PC, and mobile. The polling rate also reduces input delay, and the adjustable trigger allows for more accurate control, especially in first-person shooters and racing games. For example, players may adjust the P5 Controller triggers to have short travel for quicker shots or longer travel for control over acceleration.
Moreover, the P5 controller brings adjustable dead zones, allowing players to fine tune their joysticks for more precise aiming or smoother steering. Four macro buttons are also on the controller, making it easy to execute rapid combos or actions in a variety of games. The asymmetric motors ensure varied haptic feedback as well, enhancing immersion.
The six axis gyroscope makes the P5 Controller great for Splatoon 3 and other titles that utilize gyro aiming. P5’s ergonomic design reduces hand fatigue while playing in long sessions, thanks to wave-shaped triggers and the grip texture.
The PXN P5 Controller is compatible with PC, Mac, iOS, Android, Nintendo Switch, Steam Deck, Android TV, and Tesla vehicles. It has three connection modes: Bluetooth, 2.4GHz wireless via dongle, and wired USB-C.
“We’ve been building great controllers for years, but the PXN P5 is hands down our most ambitious handheld yet,” said PXN marketing manager Sylvia Lin. “With the P5, our goal is to redefine entry level controllers, building a high fidelity product to enhance your gaming on any game, and almost any platform!”
