    Sonic the Hedgehog Speed Cafe Heads to Georgia

    Sonic heads down south.

    SEGA announced the Sonic the Hedgehog Speed Cafe is opening its fifth pop-up shop in Chamblee, Georgia on January 18, making it the first location in the state. This will be the newest location in the collaboration between SEGA and Secret Sauce Society’s Andy Nguyen, Kevin Seo and Phillip Huynh.

    The new Sonic the Hedgehog Speed Cafe will take over the WON Kitchen on 5460 Peachtree Blvd. Suite B, Chamblee, GA, 30341. Sonic fans can expect especially themed menu items, custom packaging, and merchandise throughout the pop-up shop. The merchandise includes t-shirts, hats, and crewneck sweatshirts depicting fan-favorite characters, to name a few.

    The menu includes all-new menu items and merchandise that weren’t featured at previously opened locations as well. This includes the Rouge’s Kickin’ Chicken Sando with fried chicken, pimento cheese, special sauce, and a brioche sandwich bun, Chaos Spear Fries topped with marinara sauce, pepperoni, and cheese and the Drop Dash Cookies with blue deep-fried Oreos.

      • Smashing Echidna fruit punch slush (Knuckles)
      • Team Dark mocha milkshake (Shadow)
      • Sweet Amy strawberry milkshake (Amy Rose)

    In other Sonic news, the Sonic the Hedgehog film franchise recently passed $1 billion worldwide, just a few weeks after Sonic the Hedgehog 3 released in theaters. The film recently passed $279 million earned in North America alone. The Sonic the Hedgehog film franchise will likely continue to earn far more than 1 billion dollars in the future, especially with the release of Sonic the Hedgehog 4 in 2027.
