Bandai Namco announced free Sword Art Online: Fractured Daydream DLC character Fuuka will be available in an update releasing January 8 at 10:00 p.m. PST. The update will be available after maintenance concludes.
Fuuka is unlockable as a playable character in Sword Art Online: Fractured Daydream Season 2, and her role is Mage. To unlock her, players must clear the main story quest.

Previously, Bandai Namco released the Sword Art Online: Fractured Daydream In the Worlds Beyond I – A moment of infinity DLC. This DLC includes a new scenario, additional weapons, a new player card background, new costumes, and stamps, alongside playable character Strea. Players can expect a second DLC, Worlds Beyond II, to launch at a later date with two more playable characters, another scenario, and much more. Both DLCs are included in Character Pass Vol. 1 ($24.99).
Sword Art Online: Fractured Daydream features more than 20 characters from the Sword Art Online universe, with six different classes to choose from. These characters may be enhanced by collecting and upgrading a variety of weapons and accessories. Moreover, their appearances may be customized with cosmetics and decorations. Lastly, Sword Art Online: Fractured Daydream is available now for PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam. Sword Art Online: Fractured Daydream players receive a bonus in-game costume for having save data from Sword Art Online: Fatal Bullet.
